What are Group Member statuses?
Group member statuses are enduring states that reflect if group members are verified to be on the market operators network and impacts their ability to be linked to group assets.
Pending: This is the default status of a group member when registered. In this state, group members can be linked to groups.
Approved: The group member is within the market operators network boundary, irrespective of it being within an active tender zone. In this state group members can be linked to groups.
Rejected: The group member is not within the market operators network boundary. In this state group members cannot be linked to groups.
Market operators can update the status of group members via API or in bulk simply by uploading a CSV to the platform.
To update group members through the platform:
Go to the Group Members page and open the expandable Group Member Management section.
Download the CSV template, and the guide for how to fill in the file and update a group member's status.
In the CSV file, you will need to include:
Group Member Name
Provider Name
Status
Reason (optional)
Network Locations (optional)
3. Upload the file to ElectronConnect and submit. When successful, the table will update with the group members status, reason, and network locations.
